|• ||Winning Criteria — Finalists will do well on the following dimensions:
- Creativity — Can you do something that sets your video apart?
- Friedman's Ideas — Does your entry connect with Friedman's ideas?
- Personal Connection — Does your entry show what Friedman means to you?
- Presentation Quality — Does your entry look clear and have good sound?
|• ||Our judges' evaluation of the above criteria will represent half of the score to win; the other half will come from the total number of views to your video.|
|• ||You are encouraged to get your video in as soon as possible and spread your video far and wide through social networks, etc.|
|• ||Submit Your Video
- Film and edit your video.
- Upload to YouTube, Vimeo, or via some other embeddable video format.
- Put "MFC - VIDEO CONTEST ENTRY" in the subject line of the email.
- Send your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org (Remember, that’s DOT NET).
- Include your name, address, contact number and the link to your video. Where applicable, don't forget your teacher/professor's name.
|• ||Decorum — We don't mind edgy videos—in fact, we encourage it! But please be respectful and show decorum. Criteria for exclusion include:
- Affronts to Milton Friedman's legacy.
- Personal attacks or slurs.
- Generally inappropriate content.
Eligibility and Timing — The Milton Friedman's Century "What Milton Means to Me" Contest ("Contest") is open to all people of all ages. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. The contest will run from 12:01am ET on February 1, 2012 through 11:59pm ET on June 30, 2012.
Teachers and Students
|• ||Everyone is eligible to enter, but teachers and professors are encouraged to share the contest with students, too. If this is the Friedman Century, we want to involve all ages.|
